Entrevista
1.Where does your artistic name come from?
It’s actually my real name. My family name.
2.What are your roots?
I grew up with a lot of funk and soul because of my mom then I discovered hip-hop RnB end of 90´s early 2000’s and finally the house music when I started to go out in the club.
3.What and how was the moment when you realized that you could earn a living as a dj?
When I started, I just wanted to be a resident DJ. For me, it was the dream to just get paid for what I loved the most on this planet.
4.How would you define your music?
At the moment I’m trying to mix the urban vibe with the house music. And I also do a lot of remixes in different genres. I don’t have one style. I like to make the girls dance.
5.What do you inspire to create new sounds?
Samples. I love to work with a sample. It gives me a lot of ideas when I start with a sample.
6.What are your aspirations right now?
I just want to keep releasing my music and go on tour to share it with the most people that I can.
7.Who marks a trend within your style? Is it a reference for you?
Calvin Harris is definitely the master. He is, of course, a big inspiration.
8.With what dj would you love to collaborate with to make a song together?
David Guetta, Calvin Harris.
9.Do you prefer Club or Festival?
I like both. It’s not the same way to play. Sometimes a club is cool because you can take your time to bring the people into your vibe. Festival and big stage need to be more straight.
10.In which countries do you find the most energetic and pleasant public?
Ibiza is my favorite in the world for playing.
But I live in London, so I definitely love the UK. I also love Germany and France.
11.In what countries haven't you played yet and you would love to?
I’ve never been to Brasil, and I hope to go soon.
12.Do you like to have the public close to you?
Yes for sure I love it. You feel the energy even better.
13.Favorite song currently?
« Kanye West & Lil Pump - I love it »
14.Where can we see you soon?
Berlin 2nd of October.
